Project 7 - Temple Building - Buddha Statue Adoption - Wat Phra Yayang in Pathum Thani - IN PROGRESS

Wat Phra Yayang currently uses a site loaned to them by a devotee. The temple has managed to raise funds to buy land for a permanent site but they have little left to build facilities. A few structures have been built but the main viharn to this day is just a few pilings jutting out from the ground.

To raise funds for a Viharn to house the main Buddha, 599 Phra Chinnaraj (12cm x 4cm x 7.5cm H) will be cast and made available for adoption at S$288 each. The buchas will be housed permanently in the main hall of the new temple.

Each donor will have their name and date of birth laser marked on a tag on the bucha they adopted. Another plaque with all the donors' names will be placed with the main Phra Chinnaraj.

This statue will be the highlight in the temple, all 650 pcs adopted bucha will
form a wall at the back of this statue with the donor's name tag beneath it.
Donors will receives blessing from daily chanting at the temple.
