Roi Et - Wat Pa Nong Kae - LP Winai

A very hard and difficult journey to see an upcoming young monk in Roi Et.  Famous for his wealth frog amulets.  The effort to see him makes it all worthwhile upon meeting LP Winai.

Recommendation ***

Rough journey but we are lucky to see this van having difficulty getting out;
hence we didn;t drive in but go on foot instead...otherwise we will be stuck and
will not be able to continue our journey

Again, my very best dedicated driver and good friend, doing his best to get
across

Heading to LP Winai's kuti

LP Winai's items are affordable if you rent directly from him

Sisaket - Wat Pracha Lansan - LP Huey

Made a special trip to see LP Huey as Ake told me Yingluck visited him couple of days ago.
Very powerful LP, throughout our stay he didn't speak but he did smile once.  These monks who have few words or don't speak at all are believed to be powerful and what they speak will usually come true according to the locals beliefs.

Recommendation ****

Khon Kaen - Wat Puttabut Rattana Kiri - LP Dum

Another long journey to see LP Dum.  "Dum" meaning "Black" in thai; that's why LP Dum wears black robe.  Very friendly and powerful monk that some phenomena happens at the blessing during his recent batch of amulets chanted.  I will come back to his temple again for sure.

Recommendation ****

Yanting and blessing of Kuman that I chowed for my buddy

LP Dum showed me his rice fossil amulets immersed in holy water

This is the phenomena I'm talking about.  Look at the light rays at the back of the pagoda.
It happens during the blessing ceremony and LP Dum says this batch was very good to chow
