This temple is famous for Mae Na. Lots of devotees had their wishes granted hence the fame.
Local's story claims that Mae Na passed away during her birth while her husband was at war.
Villagers was able to see both her and the baby spirits as she refused to leave and wanted to be
with her husband and despite numerous monks who tried to reincarnate her but
without success. Finally Somdej Toh came and chanted Chinabunchorn katha to reincarnate her.
I think I've seen this movie before, very touching and I thought it was just a movie; neverrealised
that it was a true story.
You can take BTS to On Nut station. Follow Sukhumvit Soi 77 to On Nut Soi 7 and the temple is
at the end of the road
Address: Sukhumvit Soi 77, On Nut Soi 7 Bangkok, Thailand
