Luang Poo Doo was born on May 10, B.E.2447 in Ayutthaya District. His parents Mr.Put and Mrs.Puang were farmers. It seemed like he was destined to be a famous monk since the day he was born was one of the most important Buddhist days, called “Visakha Bucha Day” - a day to commemorate the birth, enlightenment and death of Lord Buddha.
