Bangkok - Poh Teck Tung Shrine

Founded in 1910, this charity organisation established by Dr Utain Techapaiboon helps arrange funerals and coffins for unidentified corpses.  Each coffin is 650 baht.  

To get there, take train to Hua Lumphong and hitch a cab.

Ayutthaya - Wat Saket - LP Doo

Luang Poo Doo was born on May 10, B.E.2447 in Ayutthaya District. His parents Mr.Put and Mrs.Puang were farmers. It seemed like he was destined to be a famous monk since the day he was born was one of the most important Buddhist days, called “Visakha Bucha Day” - a day to commemorate the birth, enlightenment and death of Lord Buddha.
