Bangkok - Wat Suttharam

Tourists would normally not come to this hidden temple in Bangkok's Khlong Sarn district.  Wat Suttharam is one of the historic temples which serves the local community in Khlong Sarn. It was built in 1868 and enshrines a locally revered Buddha image Luang Phor Chirn. Outside are wooden statues of other, mostly Chinese deities. As a local temple it is open to the people who come to pray and make merit.
