Ratchaburi - Wat Nong Hoi

Wat Nong Hoi  is siuated at Mu 2, Tambon Khao Raeng, on the top of Khao Raeng. It is the place where a Wihan of Kwan Yin Bodhisattva Avalokitesvara is situated. The image is 16 metres high and has a lap width of 9 metres.

The other side of the mountain is the place where Phra Phuttha Rattanakosin Mahamuni (Luangpho Yai) is situated. Many people often come and pay respect to the Buddha image here. It opens at 7.00 a.m.–6.00 p.m. There is an annual celebration during Chinese New Year.


Location
The temple is approximately 13 kilometres. from the town along the Khao Ngu–Boek
Phrai Route. Tourists can drive up to the area of the Wihan. By bus: Tourists can take a bus Ratchaburi–Nong Hoi
from the market in the provincial city in front of the Government Savings Bank, and get o” in front of the temple.
